Hire terms

Last updated: 17 September 2026

These are the terms we hire under. They sit alongside your quote and the booking you make from it — the quote lists the equipment, the dates and the price for your event, and these terms cover how we work.

Our on-time guarantee

Every booking carries the day we'll be on site to build. If we're not there on that day, we refund the installation cost. We confirm the time with you as the date gets close.

If we need to move the build day, we agree the new day with you in writing, and the guarantee moves to that day. If you don't agree to the change, the original day stands.

Exclusions, in plain English: a site that isn't ready or can't be accessed, ground that isn't safe to build on, weather that makes installation unsafe, road closures or declared emergencies, and a change of date you ask for.

This guarantee is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Installation and delivery

A marquee is installed. That means a crew, a ground check, anchoring to spec, and the day we'll be on site to build. It appears on your quote as installation and pack-down, on its own line.

Loose equipment on its own — tables, chairs and lighting without a marquee — is delivered from our yard and quoted for your site. Deliveries get a window; installations get a fixed day.

What we need from your site

We need to get a truck to the site and we need ground we can safely build on. If access is blocked, or the ground has become unsafe, we can't install, and that sits outside the guarantee above.

The crew walks the site with you before they leave, so you know what not to move. If something isn't right after that, ring us rather than adjusting the structure yourself.

Where we hire

We hire across the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, from base at Raleigh. Towns at the far end of the run carry a delivery fee on tables, chairs and lighting, shown as its own line on the quote.

Hire period

A standard hire covers four days, including the days we install and pack down. If your event runs longer than four days it becomes a long-term hire and is quoted on its own line.

Deposit and payment

A deposit of 25% is due when you book. It holds your date and the structure, and the date isn't held until it's paid. The balance of 75% is due two weeks before your event.

Insurance

We carry public liability cover of $20 million. Ask for the certificate of currency when you enquire and it comes with your quote.

Cancellation terms are settled with you before you book — ring us on 02 6655 6924 and we'll take you through them.
