Tables and chairs that arrive on the same truck as the marquee, counted, clean and where the floor plan says.
Furniture is where numbers go wrong. Ten chairs short at 4 pm on a Saturday is a phone call nobody can fix, which is why we count them off the truck and count them back on.
The range
- White padded folding chairs. The wedding chair, which means guests stay in them through the speeches.
- White stacking chairs. For the show, the school, the ceremony on the grass and the 300-seat marquee. The cheapest way to seat a crowd.
- Bar stools, timber top, white legs, for the dry bars.
- Round tables, 1.75 m seating 10 and 1.4 m seating 8. The 1.75 m is the wedding table; the 1.4 m suits a smaller room.
- Trestles, 6 foot (1.8 × 0.76 m), seating 8, three a side and one at each end. They join end to end for one long table.
- Dry bars, standing height, for cocktail style.
- Wine barrels for a bar front, a cake or a sign.
Rounds, trestles or cocktail?
Rounds. Everyone faces the middle, 8 or 10 a table, which means conversation and easy service. Allow about one square metre a guest. 120 guests is 12 large rounds, and with a dance floor and bar that's a 10 × 18 m.
Trestles. Long rows joined end to end, so you get a few more seats in the same space and one run of centrepieces instead of twelve. Suits a hall or a narrow marquee.
Cocktail. Dry bars, stools, wine barrels and a bank of chairs along the wall. More people in less space. A 60-guest cocktail party fits a 6 × 9 m with 4 dry bars, 20 stools, 6 barrels and 60 chairs.

Delivered, or in with the marquee
With a marquee, the furniture comes on the same truck and the crew places it after the flooring, so the room is set when they leave. On its own, furniture is delivered from our yard, priced by how far the site is, with a minimum order. See how it works.
