Sixty people, a forecast that changes daily, and a backyard

The invitations are out. The forecast says showers, then it doesn't, then it does. Sixty people can't fit in the lounge room. A marquee fixes that, but not if it's the wrong size for the yard or the truck can't get through the gate.

How we work

We come out ahead of time, put a 6 × 9 m on the lawn, hang the festoon lights and lay the dance floor. The party's on whether it rains or not. Afterwards we take it all away and the lawn's yours again.

What a 60-guest backyard party needs

Cocktail style, with seats for about half. A typical quote:

6 × 9 m marquee, white
festoon lighting on a dimmer
5 × 2.5 m parquetry dance floor
4 dry bars and 20 bar stools
6 wine barrels
60 white padded folding chairs and 4 trestles
glassware for 60

Quoted for your site. Each item is its own line on the quote. Drop the dance floor or the barrels and the number drops with them.

Smaller than that?

For a bar, the caterer, or shade over the kids' table, we have 3 × 3 m, 3.6 × 3.6 m, 4 × 4 m and 5 × 5 m pop-up marquees. A 3 × 3 m covers a trestle and the eight seats around it.

What fits in a backyard

Three things decide it. Send us a photo of the yard from the back step and we'll tell you what fits.

Level ground. A gentle slope is fine, a terraced garden isn't.
Truck access. The crew carries the marquee in from where the truck stops, so let us know where a truck can pull up.
Clearance. We peg into grass or weight onto paving, and we need room around the marquee to do it.

We install in advance and pack it down after — you get on with the party.

Our on-time guarantee. If the crew isn't there on the day we book with you, we refund the installation cost. We confirm the time with you as the date gets close. This guarantee is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
