How a hundred meals get hot at the same time.
BBQs, roasters, urns and warming gear, on the same quote and the same truck as the marquee, which means the food side of the day arrives with everything else instead of from a second supplier.

Most people sort the marquee, the tables and the glassware, then realise nobody has worked out how a hundred meals get hot at the same time. It's the last thing organised and the first thing that goes wrong, at about four in the afternoon.
What we hire
Cooking
- BBQs, on gas. Take the gas from us and it arrives connected and full, which means nobody is driving to a servo mid-afternoon. Bring your own if you'd rather.
- Roaster ovens, on gas, ours or your own. The one that does the hard part of a spit without the spit.
- Single-basket fryer.
Keeping it hot
- Hot boxes and warming ovens, six racks, on gas, ours or your own. Where plated meals wait without going cold or drying out.
- Bain marie, electric, water-heated. For a buffet that runs for two hours.
- Chafing dishes, one fuel included. The low-tech version, and often the right one.
- Pie warmer, about forty pies. Canteens, club days, footy carnivals.
Drinks and cold
- Urns, 10 L for about forty cups and 20 L for about eighty. Count on more tea than you expect at a daytime event.
- 20 L coffee maker, about eighty cups.
- Large ice chests, around 100 L, and black tubs for ice, drinks and the washing-up end of the night.
Warmth
- Patio heaters, gas included. For the hour after dinner when the sides come down and it turns out to be May.
Who hires it
Caterers who'd rather not truck their own gear up the Waterfall Way. Clubs and P&Cs running a canteen for a day. Families cooking for eighty in a paddock because that's cheaper and better than a venue. If you're feeding people somewhere without a kitchen, this is the list.
On the same quote as everything else
Catering gear goes on the same quote as the marquee, the flooring and the tables, and comes off the same truck on the same day, so it's one delivery, one pack-down and one number to call. If you're hiring a marquee from us, add the catering gear to that quote rather than chasing it separately.
