Clear-wall wedding marquee with timber floor and festoon lighting on a rural property

The first thing that has to be there

A marquee wedding has one supplier who can't be late. The florist can't dress a room that isn't there. The caterer can't set a kitchen on bare grass. If the marquee's wrong, everyone else stands in a paddock and waits. It's fair to worry about that. That's why we guarantee the install date.

How we work

Before your wedding, our crew arrives on your install date. They install the marquee flooring, put the marquee up, then hang the festoon lights. By the time the florist pulls in, the trucks have gone and the room's ready to dress. Afterwards we come back, pack it down, and it's a paddock again.

On the property, or at a venue

Many of our weddings are on private land: a family farm, a friend's paddock, a backyard with a view. A property needs two things: level ground, and room for a truck to get close.

Venues are the other half. We've installed at golf resorts, hinterland estates and community halls. We deal with the venue coordinator on where the marquee sits and when we arrive to build, so you're not relaying messages.

A small wedding still deserves the same attention

Same crew, same timber floor, same festoon lights, same install process. The only thing that changes is the size of the marquee. We size it to your guest list, so the room feels full with plenty of room for dancing.

Laura & Jake, Dorrigo

“Our family and friends have not stopped talking about how magical our clear marquee looked. The beautiful timber flooring meant we were elevated and protected from all the rain which poured down during our day, and the dance floor could proceed without issue. It was an absolute life-saver for our thunderstorm wedding!”

Laura and Jake Edwards, married at Lookout Mountain Retreat, Dorrigo. What went in:

  • 10 × 21 m marquee with clear roof and walls
  • timber marquee flooring
  • fairy lights
  • dance floor
  • two wine barrels either side of the bridal table

Every one of those is a line on the quote. It rained all day, and the floor is why nobody noticed.

Four more, from our own records

Four Coffs Coast weddings from our own portfolio, and what went in:

  • Mandy & Tim, on a property. 10 × 21 m marquee; fairy lights; round tables and white padded folding chairs; patio heaters; glassware, cutlery and crockery.
  • Cicely & Steve, Macksville. 10 × 21 m marquee on a property under the hills; internal lighting and fairy lights; trestle tables and white padded folding chairs; glassware, crockery and cutlery.
  • Alana & Graham, Mylestom. 10 × 18 m marquee between the ocean and the Bellinger River, with a 3 × 3 m caterer's marquee and white padded folding chairs.
  • Rebecca & Mark, Sapphire. A 10 × 9 m on the back deck, its legs extended to sit level with the house, and a 6 × 18 m facing the ocean; lighting inside, trestles and cloths.

What a 50-guest wedding needs

Fifty seated at round tables, with a 5 × 5 m dance floor, is a 10 × 9 m marquee. A typical quote:

  • 10 × 9 m marquee, white roof, clear walls
  • timber floor throughout
  • festoon lighting on a dimmer
  • 5 × 5 m parquetry dance floor
  • 5 round tables seating 10, and 50 white padded folding chairs
  • crockery, cutlery and glassware for 50

Quoted for your site. Each item sits on its own line of the quote.

What a 120-guest wedding needs

The rule of thumb is about a square metre a guest at round tables, plus room for the dance floor and bar. For 120 seated, that's a 10 × 18 m marquee. A typical quote:

  • 10 × 18 m marquee, white roof, clear walls
  • timber floor throughout
  • festoon lighting on a dimmer
  • 5 × 5 m parquetry dance floor
  • 12 round tables seating 10, and 120 white padded folding chairs
  • crockery, cutlery and glassware for 120

Quoted for your site. Each item sits on its own line of the quote.

Clear roof or white?

Clear roof and clear walls: the property is the room, and the photos at dusk are why people choose it. On a hot day it's warmer inside, so a white roof with clear walls gives shade overhead, the view at eye level and softer light on faces. Half-clear walls split the difference. Speak to our team about the options.

What's included

With every wedding marquee:

  • the structure and walls
  • a crew to install it and pack it down
  • the build day written into your booking

Quoted separately, each on its own line, so you can add or drop them:

  • timber flooring
  • parquetry dance floor
  • festoon, fairy or LED lighting
  • tables and chairs
  • crockery, cutlery and glassware

We don't just drop it off. It's our crew building your dream wedding.

Marquee, tables, chairs, lighting and dance floor — a daughter's wedding

“C2C were instrumental in making our daughter and son in laws wedding a success. The team guided us on what type of festive marquee, tables, chairs, lighting and dance floor would be best. They erected the marquee quickly and professionally. We would recommend C2C for any event requiring a marquee and everything else needed for a celebration.”
Sue Taggart

Wedding marquee with lighting, built two days ahead

“The team went above and beyond, setting everything up two days before the wedding in 35-degree heat, which we were so grateful for. Their hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed, and they were so lovely to deal with throughout the process…”
Georgia Clements

Wedding in Bellingen

“We used C2C event hire for our recent wedding in Bellingen. They were very professional, easy to deal with and punctual. The staff who set up and packed everything up were great. Very impressed”

How it works

  1. Step 1

Start with the date and the place.

A phone call or the form. You don't need to know marquee sizes; that's our job.

  2. Step 2

A quote you can read line by line.

An itemised quote: marquee, floor, lighting, furniture and tableware, each on its own line.

  3. Step 3

Wake up to a marquee that's already there.

The crew builds ahead of the day, at the agreed time. Afterwards, we come back and take it all down.

On site, on time, so your day goes ahead.

Our on-time guarantee. If the crew isn't there on the day we book with you, we refund the installation cost. We confirm the time with you as the date gets close. This guarantee is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
