Equipment / Marquee Flooring
A level floor under the whole marquee.
Timber flooring on a steel sub-frame, built for our 3, 6 and 10 m marquees and laid level across the slope by the crew that builds the structure.

A marquee on grass is a roof. Underneath, it's still a paddock: tables rock, heels sink, and if it rained on Friday the ground is soft on Saturday. Flooring is what turns the space under the roof into a room.
What integrated flooring is
Timber decking on a steel sub-frame that is made for the marquee it goes under. The frame follows the marquee's bays, so the floor runs wall to wall and the walls close onto the floor's edge rather than onto grass. The sub-frame is packed level across the fall of the ground, which is why a floored marquee on a sloping lawn still has flat tables at the far end.
It isn't a dance floor. A dance floor is a few square metres laid where the ground is already flat; marquee flooring is a level deck under the whole structure. The dance floor goes on top of it.
Which marquees it fits
Built for our 3, 6 and 10 m marquee widths, in 3 m bays, so a 6 × 9 m, a 10 × 12 m or a 10 × 27 m can each be floored end to end. Any floor up to 10 × 33 m.
What it costs to have
Priced by the square metre and quoted with the marquee, on its own line, so you can price the job both ways. It's the whole floor or none; we don't lay part of a marquee. Tell us early if you want it, so the crew can plan the build day around it.
The dance floor goes on top
Our 5 × 5 m dance floor sits on top of the marquee flooring. Tell us if you're short on space, and we'll see if we've got something that fits.
What's included
Steel sub-frame, levelled
Packed level across the fall of the ground, so the far end of the room is as flat as the near end.
Wall to wall
Built for the 3, 6 and 10 m marquees in 3 m bays. The walls close onto the floor's edge, not onto grass.
Laid by the crew that builds the marquee
In with the structure, out with the structure. Priced by the square metre, on its own line of the quote.
